Garden Volunteers
Garden Volunteers help our regular Green Tracks staff and trainees (Trackers) with horticultural, ecological and craft activities on site.
Support volunteers must be friendly, encouraging and patient. They must be happy to work outside in all weathers. Although gardening experience is not essential it is very useful.
'Occasional' Volunteers
This is a catch-all description of anyone with any skills that can be used on an ad hoc basis and usually with minimum commitment. We may ask for help in one-off ways or a couple of times a year or make contact when we need a little extra help.
We are always on the look out for people who are happy to help us sell produce and publicise our work at events. Such volunteers could be asked to help run stalls at our Open Day and/or external events.
We are also always interested in people who would be interesting in helping us with construction/repair projects this might be erecting a new polytunnel or creating an outdoor kitchen for example.
We would also like to harness the creative skills of local artists who could lead inclusive craft workshops for our Trackers.
