Keep up to date with our progress at Green Tracks...
Green Tracks is a market garden that offers placements for adults with additional needs. We are a not for profit organisation based in the Wakefield area.
Without a dedicated group of volunteers we would not be able to continue. We are always looking for people who can give some of their time
Fresh seasonal produce is available to buy from our site. We are open 9.00am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday Closed Wednesdays and the weekend.

A big thank you to everyone that came to visit us at Camphill Wakefield’s Moving On Event on the 8th March 10.00am to 4.30pm.
We’ve had a busy couple of years at Green Tracks with new and past Trackers helping to shape the market garden into what it is today. Still lots to do but take a peek at what we’ve been up to down on the plot...
Green Tracks is always open to volunteers, because of the nature of our work if you are able to give your time regularly we would need you to complete a DBS check (Police background check) If you are interested please contact: info@greentracksenterprise.org.uk
Jo-anne our Company Secretary, has been volunteering at GTE since its inception.
“I love to be able to work in a garden after a busy office based week. There is so much to do, if I am feeling energetic there is no end of digging and weeding. On other days I can spend my time quietly transplanting seedlings. Who needs gyms and meditation classes when you have a place like Green Tracks on your door step.
As the number of trackers has grown I am always impressed with their commitment to work to the best of their abilities and the sheer joie de vivre that surrounds them.
I would thoroughly recommend a day at Green Tracks for any one that is looking for a bit of rest and restoration.”

We buy vegetables, salad and fruit from a biodynamic grower in Wakefield Green Tracks. This week you can sample delicious tomatoes, small, sweet and YELLOW! Cucumber, perfect to add your salads and smoothies. Lettuce that tastes of lettuce! Courgettes, which are going to be featuring in our special main for the weekend.
Green Tracks couldn’t exist without the wonderful support we get from individuals and the local community. We would like to use this space to send huge thanks to everyone that has supported us; with a special mention to people and organisations...
A big thank you to Camphill Wakefield. They have had spare potatoes from their field crop and have kindly let us harvest enough to sell to our customers.
